About Us
Red Giant was founded in 2001 by Martin and Ian, a design/digital duo with a fondness for branding, graphic typography, ink on paper, pixel perfection and attention to detail.
With help from our small team of experts (and a touch of old-school class), we enjoy creating strong relationships with our clients and working collaboratively to achieve great outcomes together. Many of our clients have been with us for a dozen years or more.
The Team
Ian grew up in a family print and publishing business where he learned the traditional skills of turning words and pictures into ink on paper. A love of coding put him at the vanguard of the DTP revolution before a spell at Haymarket saw him editing assorted motoring and F1 titles. In truth, those first 20 years were simply a fact-finding mission for the inevitable formation of Red Giant.
After discovering his love for typography as a graphiti artist in the ’80s, Martin has worked at many publishing and design houses before heading up Red Giant’s visual output. Over the years he has adapted his traditional design skills to the digital environment and is skilled at art direction across all media from print to web, animation to photography and videography.
