Generic Consultant-devices-mockup copy

Imagery or video content - whether supplied by you or researched and created by us - could be incorporated here upon landing. This grabs the attention of the visitor and sets the tone. We would also advise incorporating a sentence or two sitting 'above the line' succinctly explaining what you do.

After discussion with you, we will develop your own unique branding which will set the graphic tone for your new website. This ‘theme’ will be carried through all pages of your website ensuring visual continuity.

Contact details and main navigation would be 'sticky'... meaning that they will stay in position at the top of the page no matter where the user goes on your site. This makes it very easy and intuitive for them to either navigate to other pages or to contact you at any stage of their journey.

All of our websites are fully responsive - meaning they view perfectly on desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile. We also ensure that all imagery and graphics are optimised for speedy loading across all devices (page load speed also affects your Google ranking...).

We can create graphic banners to display all of the services you offer, or utilise real-life photography. These then link directly to the corresponding page within your site, giving more information on this service.

We can include a carousel of logos from your approved insurers as well as the hospitals and clinics you work with. These, along with all other graphics and imagery, will be optimised for perfect viewing on all devices.

Including testimonials from satisfied patients within your site helps visitors to feel comfortable with your skills snd services. Social proof of this nature is considered extremely important in the world of private practice.

NB this is just an example of a possible design. All Red Giant websites are unique, so you are not tied to this specific visual appearance. Please see examples of previously built sites to see how they can vary.

SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
Introductory Package

SEO Keyword Research

Keyword research is the process of discovering and analyzing the words and phrases that people use when searching for information online. It is an essential step in search engine optimization (SEO), as it helps us understand what your audience is looking for and how to best optimize your website to rank highly in search engine results.

We will conduct extensive keyword research to identify up to 50 brand-specific keywords and 500 relevant generic terms within your niche. By targeting the right keywords, we can increase the visibility of your website in search results, leading to more traffic and potential customers.

Keyword research can also help us understand what keywords and phrases your ‘competitors’ are targeting, allowing us to identify opportunities to differentiate your content and potentially outrank them in search results.

Meta tags are ‘hidden’ pieces of text which search engines can read to identify what content is available within your site and to encourage users to click your link in search results. These generally include primary keywords and your brand name. They directly influence your search rankings and click-through rates

A meta robots tag is an HTML code snippet placed on every page of a website. It instructs search engine crawlers on whether to index a page and follow its links. This grants site owners granular control over how their content appears in search results.

Just like web design technology, search engine optimisation also develops over time. Red Giant is at the forefront of this change, so our full SEO package also includes an LLMs file. LLMs is a structured text file that provides AI agents with a clear, comprehensive summary of your website’s key information. It can help AI agents better understand and accurately reflect your practice in search results.

Branding Package

Usually, when people think of branding, the first thing that comes to mind is visuals – the logo, the colours of choice, and maybe even fonts/typography. While this wouldn’t be entirely wrong, there’s a lot more that goes into building a brand (or at least a good one!)

Branding is also about positioning, perception, and the story that an organisation or person tells. To help consultants understand where they sit, conducting a competitor analysis is one of the most important exercises. Competitor analysis prevents ‘blind branding’, which means designing in isolation without understanding audience expectations or market norms. It’s a strategic foundation that clarifies opportunities and improves differentiation.

A good logo creates instant brand recognition and visual consistency, conveying the trustworthiness and professionalism of your practice. Your logo forms your brand identity and sets you apart from your competitors.

One of the basic principles of logo design is that a good logo should be unique, uncomplicated and memorable. We will ensure your new logo identifies your brand, builds your image and reflects your ethos and core values.

Your brand is much more than just your logo. Colour, typography, texture, image treatments and even tone of voice all play their part in ensuring your new website feels just right and has a coherent, consistent feel and tone throughout. We take all of these elements into account to ensure your brand and website stand proud of your competitors.

Website Development Package

This is the foundation upon which the outside world views you. It is a vital part of the process and not one to be ignored.

Essentially, it involves the following elements:

  • Review and recommend
  • Conduct initial user research
  • Perform a competitor analysis
  • Set key milestones
  • Map out the project’s architecture
  • Discuss functionality

Once all of the above has been carried out, we can move to the next stage, though many elements all come together as part of the above process.

It may be that you already have a selection of imagery for us to work with. Whether this is the case or not, we will discuss all options with you – from adding to a current portfolio of imagery or starting from scratch with shots of you and your team to working with stock photography and illustration. We will find a solution that fits your budget and brand.

Using the insights from the review phase, we define what needs to be prototyped, create a mockup of the user interface (UI) and explore the user journey/experience (UX). This phase typically involves:

  • Creating wireframes and mono mockups
  • Developing the aesthetic look and feel
  • Crafting the layout and information architecture
  • Initiating or advising on content creation

We will create a visual representation of the final product, which will serve as a blueprint for the development phase.

Whether you have an existing site’s content to migrate over or are starting from scratch, we can help you with drafting your copy while our development team implements the approved design and functionality. We have found that many of our medical consultant clients find it helpful to have a framework to work within when honing their content and making it accessible to a diverse audience – generally it needs to be friendly and reassuring, not technical and scary.

With a detailed, full-colour prototype approved by you, we are able to start the coding which (amongst many other tasks) includes:

  • Creating the hosting environment on which the website will sit
  • Setting up a blank installation of the WordPress content management system
  • Technical development based on the approved prototype
  • Rigorous quality assurance testing
  • Usability testing with real users
  • Final adjustments and optimizations following feedback from you
  • Preparation for launch

You will no-doubt be aware of Doctify, the independent online platform that allows patients to find, compare, and book healthcare providers based on verified, patient-written reviews.

We can seamlessly embed access to your doctify page from your new website and also display existing Doctify testimonials / badges / star ratings etc with a variety of visual treatments (as determined by Doctify’s API).

It is important to display the hospitals and clinics from which you work, along with private health insurance providers, both in terms of caché and catchment. This helps to show the professional level at which you are working, helps with discoverability and Google search results, and reassures potential patients.

The principal function of Google Analytics is to track data, store it, and generate regular (automated) reports about your website and how it is performing. This might include, for example:
  • How many people visited your website in the last day/week/month
  • How many / what pages did they view per session (visit)
  • How many visitors bounced off your website without any interaction
  • Which pages/content were the most popular
These reports can then be used to inform the generation or updating of content, site structure or functionality to retain visitors on your site for longer. We install Google Analytics and set up your monthly reports so that you don’t have to think about this or do anything. All you need is a Google/Gmail account; and if you haven’t got one, we can walk you through the process or set one up for you.

We will ensure that your new website automatically adapts its layout, imagery, and content to fit any screen size or device, from mobile phones to desktop monitors. This eliminates the need for separate mobile sites, offering a consistent, optimized experience, tailored to the device on which the site is being viewed.

Once the site is built, our job isn’t over. We offer two hours of CMS training as part of the package, so that you can update the site’s content if you wish (most of our clients leave it to us, either on an ad-hoc or retained basis). We will be here to help ensure the continual evolution of the website, to keep it editorialy up-to-date, secure and maintained.
